Tower powers Clippers’ win

WATERVILLE – Becky Tower tossed in 21 points to lead the University of Maine-Machias to a 76-40 women’s basketball victory over Thomas College Monday night.

Danielle Riebe chipped in with 17 points and Ann Marie Cochrane had 12 for the Clippers.

Tee Fecteau led Thomas College with 13 points.

Bill Harris netted 15 points for the winners, while Aaron McDonald had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Chris Kumka notched 12 points.

Jack Kelly had 21 points for Maine Maritime Academy. Chris Beeler added 14 and Doug Peters had 11.
