JONESPORT — Thirty-six senior citizens were served a free Christmas dinner Sunday at the Win, Place and Show Restaurant in Jonesport.

Arnold and Lorraine Stanhope provided the free dinner to seniors from Whitneyville, Machias, Jonesport and Beals. Sara Norton of Beals played Mrs. Santa Claus.

Last year, which was the first time the Stanhopes donated Christmas dinners, eight seniors attended.
