Lasante, Beavers cut down Husson

FARMINGTON – Caryn Lasante scored 21 points and Kristy Parent tossed in 19 to lead the host University of Maine-Farmington Beavers to a 66-58 Maine Athletic Conference victory over Husson College here Wednesday.

Brigette Robert netted 11 as Farmington picked up its seventh win of the young season. Lasante scored 11 of her 21 points on 11-12 shooting from the line. The Beavers erased a four-point deficit in the first-half by outscoring the Braves by 12 in the second.

Emily Walker led the Braves with 16 points. Amanda Pomerleau added 13 and Tara Leavitt scored 10.
