HAMPDEN — The Hampden Children’s Day Committee will hold a cutathon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Scissor Excitement, Main Road and Western Avenue, to help raise funds for the annual Children’s Day.

Hampden beauticians Pat Bennett, Debbie Johnson, Debbie Roope and the Scissor Excitement staff will donate their time for the event. The $7 from each haircut will go toward Children’s Day activities.

Local businesses providing support for the event include Coffee Break Bakery in Hampden and Schartner’s Fruit and Berry Farm in Thorndike, providing refreshments.
