BUCKSPORT — The Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest for a Cadette Girl Scout, has been presented to four Bucksport Scouts: Melissa Andrews, Jessica Davis, Melissa Levandoski and Genevieve Reynolds, all members of Troop 235.

Andrews, the daughter of Beverley and Thomas Andrews, has been a Scout for eight years. Levandoski, the daughter of Lorraine Varvaro; Reynolds, the daughter of Linda and Alfred Reynolds; and Davis, the daughter of Carol and Kirk Davis, have been Scouts for seven years.

Reynolds’ service project was to reorganize the children’s section of the Buck Memorial Library. The others planned and held a Fun Day for Brownie Girl Scouts in the Bucksport and Orland area, including a puppet show, dance, aerobic exercises, outdoor skills, games, crafts and beading.
