EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — More than 30 organizations will display the forest of today and yesteryear at the three-day Forestry Show at the Carrefour Assumption’s Convention Center at Edmundston.
The event will start with a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. (Canadian time) Thursday, May 11. During the lunch, four wood carvers will display their works. Three former woodsmen, a lumberjack and two foresters, will discuss their work.
During the three days, a film on forestry of years gone by will be featured twice a day. Three wood carvers, one who uses a chain saw, will work throughout the weekend inside the convention center.
For children, there will be clowns, animals from a local zoo and a celestial observation station.
