HOULTON – Freshman Lucas Ritchie pitched a one-hitter here Monday to lead Houlton to a 4-2 baseball victory over Presque Isle.
Ritchie struck out six for the Shiretowners, who had RBI doubles from Dan Willard and Nick Howe.
George Graves had the only hit for the Wildcats.

At Limestone, Fort Kent ran away with a victory behind Eric Raymond, who had a home run, a triple and four RBIs.
J.R. Albert had a triple, double, and had three RBIs. Catcher Eric Berbe had two doubles along with Nathan Bouchard’s two singles. Wayne Gregoire had two hits and two RBIs.
Tadd Devoe had a two run double for Limestone.

At Van Buren, Ben Cyr knocked in four runs with three singles and Jamie Cyr drove in two more with a double and two singles to guide Madawaska to victory.
Brian Cyr had two base hits for the winners and Ed Marshall went the distance, spacing five hits.
Jesse Cormier tripled and singled and drove in two runs for Van Buren and Corey Searles had a pair of doubles. Ben LaPlante had an RBI double.

At Dyer Brook, Southern Aroostook took an early lead in the first inning with four runs. Jason Porter had a double and three singles for the Warriors.
Mark Fhilibert had two doubles. Brian Jacobs and Florian Schranke each had doubles.
Jon Maynard had a triple for Washburn.

At Machias, Josh Look hurled a no-hitter through five innings, striking out seven, and Mike Lenfestey led a 13-hit attack with two doubles and a single for Machias.
Aaron Coffin, Wayne Morey, and Andy Feeney each had two singles for the Bulldogs. Look added a double and single.
For Lubec, Jeremy Carmen reached on an error and later scored the lone run in the first inning.

At Calais, Alan Taylor rapped an RBI single and Brian Chamberlain followed with a two-run homer in the top of the fifth inning as Washington Academy of East Machias came from behind to win.
Alan Taylor earned the pitching win in relief of Glen Wood for the Raiders.
For Calais, Chris Rohde belted a solo homer in the first.

At Hermon, sophomore Justin Perry had a home run and a single for the Hawks as they beat Sumner of East Sullivan.
Eric Keezer had three singles for Hermon behind Jason Winchenbach, who pitched a four-hitter, striking out five and walking one.
Brad Frye, Mike Bills, James Schwartz and Brenton Parritt all had doubles for Sumner.

At Lincoln, Adam Peters singled in the fourth inning, then stole second, third, and home to provide the only run the Pandas would need.
Kevin Steele plated an insurance run in the seventh with an RBI single, knocking in Justin Gifford who singled and stole second. Gifford went the distance, striking out six. Steele had three singles.
For Mattanawcook, Chad Reed had two singles.

At Harrington, junior shortstop Robbie Worcester belted a three-run homer and a two-run homer and also added a single to pace Narraguagus past Woodland.
Mickey Willey had a two-run inside-the-park homer for the winners and Adam Meyer had three hits. Senior righty Dan Curtis went the distance for the win, scattering five hits.
Joe Viselli had two singles for Woodland.
