ROCKLAND — A public hearing on new school plans has been scheduled by SAD 5 for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at the Rockland District High School cafeteria.
The school board is considering alternatives for new construction which include a $7.7 million high school or a $4.8 million middle school. Informal plans are to close the outdated McLain School and middle school buildings as soon as possible.
