R.A.M. TATTOO has opened for business at 182 Essex St. in Bangor. Owned and operated by Richard Mott, R.A.M. Tattoo uses the Autoclave Sterilization method and specializes in custom tattooing and cover-up work. The business is open 1-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 1-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and Sundays by appointment.

BAY VIEW PHYSICAL THERAPY has opened at 17 Oak St. in Ellsworth and is now accepting referrals and treating patients. The clinic offers advanced equipment and a complete program including comprehensive services for the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and general orthopedic conditions. Bay View is owned and operated by Laura Robinson, a certified physical therapist who has been treating patients for a decade.

THE MAIN 1 TRAVEL CENTER has opened on 64 Main St. in Bangor. The travel center provides a full complement of arrangements for domestic and international travel, including passenger rails, cruises and tours. Main 1 has a video library for customers to preview vacation spots. The center is open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays with additional winter hours 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays. Maine 1 is owned by Julie Picard, who has 12 years of experience in the business.
