Coats for Kids program seeks clothing donors

BANGOR — WLBZ-TV Channel 2 has announced its annual Coats for Kids campaign to provide at least 5,000 winter coats and snowsuits to children in need.

Coats and snowsuits may be dropped off at any Shop ‘n Save supermarket in eastern, central or northern Maine. Gold Star Cleaners, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Bangor and The Salvation Army will clean and distribute the garments.

New for the 1994-95 campaign is a coloring contest for children 5-12.
