Railroad crossing work to slow Rockland traffic

ROCKLAND — Work to restore a railroad crossing on South Main Street will slow traffic Monday through Wednesday, July 25-27, says a spokesman for the Maine Department of Transportation.

Alternating one-way traffic will be allowed through the work area on Monday and Tuesday and on Wednesday, all passenger car traffic will be detoured. The crossing is the first of several to be restored.
