HOULTON — Voters at the SAD 29 budget meeting on Monday approved a $7,476,232 budget for next year, an increase of $149,488 more than this year’s budget.
Articles approved are as follows: regional vocational education budget, $867,685, local share, $352,821; adult vocational education budget, $32,500, local share, $13,393; foundation allocation, $5,860,736, local share, $1,152,506; debt service, $516,411, local share, $101,018; additional local funds, $398,474; and adult education, $214,872, local share, $48,000.
Local assessments to fund the budget will be as follows: Hammond, $30,260; Houlton, $1,313,759; Littleton, $186,320; and Monticello, $169,660.
