VAN BUREN — A blown power substation fuse left Van Buren residents without electricity for about 20 minutes at noontime Tuesday.

Van Buren Light and Power District Manager Philip Dumais said the blown fuse left Van Buren with about half of its power supply but that the entire grid had to be shut down briefly to allow district workers to replace the fuse.
