ROCKLAND — Chief Deputy John Carroll confirmed Friday that the Knox County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the disappearance of drugs from the Warren ambulance.
Carroll said department investigators learned of the missing drugs earlier in the day. Carroll said the details were sketchy but that the loss was apparently detected when emergency personnel attempted to administer pain killing drugs to a patient.
“We just got it,” Carroll said of the case. “We’ve just started working on it.”
