ELLSWORTH — Parents and child care providers are invited to a free program titled “Fireproofing Kids With Education” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at the Hancock County Extension Office.
Participants will learn ways to teach young children fire safety and reduce the risk of burns and injuries. Free curriculum information will be given for use in the home, nursery school or center classroom.
The workshop is co-sponsored by Child Care Opportunities and licensed providers can count the training time toward professional improvement needs.
