A Bangor man was found dead early Monday morning in the driveway of his 147 Parkview Ave. residence.
John McAloon, 64, who had a history of alcoholism, was found dead around 5:20 a.m. by a newspaper carrier, according to Bangor police.
There were no signs of trauma and nothing to indicate any suspicious activity, according to Lt. Brian Cox.
A medical examiner is expected to examine the body and determine whether an autopsy is required, said the police lieutenant.
McAloon had been out drinking with friends Sunday night, and is believed to have returned to his residence between midnight Sunday and 1 a.m. Monday.
“It’s possible he just fell down, passed out and was overcome by the cold,” said Cox.
