ELLSWORTH — How to make a business customer friendly is one topic that will be discussed at a public seminar sponsored by the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 22, at the Ellsworth Holiday Inn.
According to Jan Griffen, Chamber president, the seminar titled, “Customer Service: Are Employees Killing Your Business,” will be useful for small-business owners, service organizations, retailers, wholesalers, restaurant owners, department store managers, customer service representatives and sales people.
Other topics that will be included are how to communicate with customers and recognize their needs, how to handle complaints and how to be better than your competition.
Registration will be 7:30 to 8 a.m. the day of the seminar. The fee is $30 and includes materials.
