Helping Jackie Miner

The benefit supper held Feb. 6 for Jackie Miner of Eddington (to raise money for kidney dialysis) was a huge success. All of us involved were very moved by the support shown.

Jackie and her family wish to thank everyone who cooked, worked, and came to eat that night. We also thank everyone who could not attend but gave their support with monetary donations, food, and supplies.

The outpouring has been overwhelming, with letters, cards, notes, and prayers sent from all over the state.

A special thanks to Mr. Runyan and Scout Troop 23, also to Ruth, Dot, and Bev for cooking 40 pounds of delicious baked beans, and to Holbrook Junior High School for letting us use their facilities.

God bless you all. Polly Prahm for the family of Jackie Miner
