Trisha Ripton key in Stearns victory

MILLINOCKET – Trisha Ripton had a triple-double to lead the Stearns Minutemen to a 55-41 schoolgirl basketball win over the Brewer Witches at Wentworth Gym here Friday night.

For the 10-4 Minutemen, Ripton had 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Sarah Marshall scored 16 points and Cory Santerre added 10.

Jen Emery had 10 points for the 3-10 Witches.
