ROCKLAND — City police arrested Robert L. Sukeforth, 21, of Purchase Street on Tuesday and charged him with theft, furnishing marijuana and violation of probation.
Police Chief Alfred Ockenfels said that during the course of serving the arrest warrant on Sukeforth evidence was seized that linked him to a series of area break-ins.
“Several items were recovered from his residence that connect him to a number of burglaries in Rockland and perhaps outside the Rockland area,” Ockenfels said Wednesday.
Ockenfels said Sukeforth offered no resistance during the arrest. He was taken to the Knox County Jail where he remains in custody for violating the terms of his probation.
