We had a fantastic field trip to Boston on May 4 and 5. After two days of exploring the Aquarium, Quincy Market, Freedom Trail, top of the Prudential Building, a Chinese restaurant, Museum of Science, Planetarium, Omni Theatre, U.S.S. Constitution, and Boston Tea Party re-enactment, the fifth and sixth grade students of Canaan Elementary School gained a new appreciation for their roots in America and the assets of Boston. It was the adults’ pleasure tp watch the students’ reactions to the historic attractions and hear them respond to questions asked them by their guides.
The Canaan community can be very proud of these young people for their representation of our school and community.
The staff and students of the fifth and sixth grades thank you greatly for your support in financing this trip to Boston. It will remain an outstanding educational memory for all the participants. Mrs. Nutting Ms. Crout Mrs. Clapp Canaan Elementary School
