The following cases were decided in 3rd District Court, Bangor, during the week of Dec. 4-11:

Mark D. McLaughlin, 25, Brewer, speeding 66 mph in 40-mph zone, $125.

James R. McQuarrie, 47, Reading, Mass., speeding 52 mph in 25-mph zone, $125.

Charles Metcalf II, 46, Staffordville, Conn., causing-operating motor vehicle without status current, $100.

Albernathy Miller, 23, Bangor, operating motor vehicle while under influence of intoxicating liquor, three days in jail, 90-day license suspension, $300; operating motor vehicle after suspension and failure to appear, $150.

Martin A. Millet Jr., 27, Eddington, assault, $250.

Cray W. Mitchell, 33, Stockton Springs, possession of marijuana, $200; illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, $100.

William Moffitt, 22, Woodland, speeding 79 mph in 50-mph zone, $125.

Pornchai Moontri, 18, Bangor, assault, 90 days in jail, all but three days suspended, one-year probation, counseling including domestic violence men’s group at Community Health and Counseling, alcohol counseling, no possession or use of alcohol.

Robin S. Oja, 28, Bangor, operating motor vehicle after suspension, two days in jail, concurrent; operating motor vehilce while under influence of intoxicating liquor, 10 days in jail, one-year license suspension, $500.

Heath D. O’Neil, 19, Ellsworth, speeding 84 mph in 55-mph zone, $150.

Scott W. Orchard, 18, Winterport, passing stopped school bus that had its lights flashing, $250.

David Paul, 37, Bangor, operating motor vehile while under influence of intoxicating liquor, two days in jail, 90-day license suspension, $400.

Amy Pettegrow, 23, East Corinth, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $100.

Guydell Powell, 33, Brooks, assault, 30 days in jail, suspended, one-year probation, with counseling for domestic violence at defendant’s expense.

Brian P. Quigley, 19, Beverly, Mass., following too close, $100.

George Rockwell, 32, Sackville, Nova Scotia, rule violation causing-operating motor vehicle without status current, $100.

Paul Sawler, 19, Bangor, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $100.

David A. Seymour, 34, Orono, operating motor vehicle after suspension, $200.

Devin Slauenwhite, 25, Oakfield, operating vehicle exceeding axle-weight limit, $475.

Dwight C. Smith, Dixmont, speeding 73 mph in 45-mph zone, $125.

Jon Stearns, 34, Bangor, operating motor vehicle while under influence of intoxicating liquor, 90-day license suspension, $400.

Lorraine Swett, 34, Bangor, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $100.

Michael Vellaro, 22, Old Town, furnishing liquor to minor, 90 days in jail, all but 48 hours suspended, one-year probation; assault, 90 days in jail, all but 48 hours suspended, concurrent, one-year probation.

Julie Violette, 19, Millinocket, assault, $150.

Wayne J. Ware, 42, Milford, unlawful sexual contact, 90 days in jail, all but 72 hours suspended.

Brian F. Watts, 20, Orono, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $100.

Michael J. Wolosko, 30, Bangor, assault, $100.

Lee A. Wood, 39, Milford, speeding 76 mph in 45-mph zone, $150.

Central Maine STG, Bangor, allowing illegal operation of motor vehicle, $100.

Donald P. Gray, Orrington, causing operation of vehicle exceeding tire size, $100.

F.A. Madden Inc., Milford, operating vehicle exceeding axle-weight limit, $650.

Kendall Hodgdon Trucking, Blue Hill, operating vehicle exceeding axle-weight limit, $195.

Lou Silver Inc., Veazie, misuse of dealer registration plates, $250.

Maine Material Handling Inc., Bangor, misuse of dealer equipment plate, $200.

Robert Wardwell and Sons Inc., Bucksport, operating vehicle exceeding axle-weight limit, $185.
