Men’s College Basketball
PRESQUE ISLE – Chris Casavant poured in a game-high 31 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to spark the University of Maine-Presque Isle to a 90-74 victory over Unity College here Sunday.
It was the fifth win in 12 games for UMPI. Unity slipped to 4-6.
Bernard Grenway scored 20 points and Shawn Manter 11 for the Owls.
Tony Therrien led Unity with 17 points, while Harold Smith scored 15. Matt Baker and Travis Gerry chipped in with 11 points each.

At Standish on Saturday, Steve Chase scored 17 points to help pace the host St. Joseph’s College Monks to victory over Thomas College of Waterville.
Marcus Smith added 12 points for the 8-0 Monks and Grey Collymore added eight.
For the 5-5 Terriers, Mike Adams scored 20 points and Brian Weed added 13.
