HODGDON — A Houlton man escaped injury Monday morning when his truck rolled over on Corner Road in Hodgdon.
Calvin Bishop, 39, was not hurt when his 1974, three-ton Ford truck rolled onto its side at about 8:45 a.m. after it went onto the soft shoulder of the road and into a ditch. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to Trooper John O’Hara.
O’Hara said about 2 gallons of hydraulic fluid leaked from a hydraulic work boom on the truck. Carl Allen of the Department of Environmental Protection in Presque Isle responded to the site and was able to clean up most of the fluid with absorbent pads, O’Hara said.
Damage to the truck was estimated at $250, O’Hara said.
