HOULTON — The Salvation Army in Houlton will hold evangelistic meetings at 7 p.m. Monday, March 11, through Sunday, March 17, at the Salvation Army building on Court Street. A youth rally for children age 10 and older will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16. Cost will be $3 with lunch.
Also during the week, cadets from the Salvation Army School for Officers Training in Suffern, N.Y., will be in Aroostook County. While in the County, they will visit nursing homes, make door-to-door visitations, and attend youth programs and evening services.
They are: Cadet and Mrs. Timus Williams, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Cadet and Mrs.Gary Huff, Mount Vernon, Ohio; Cadet and Mrs. Tim Gair, Williamsport, Pa.; Cadet and Mrs. Larry Wittenburg, Cleveland, Ohio; Cadet and Mrs. John Brooks Jr., Steubenville, Ohio; and brigade officer, Capt. Debra Goforth.
