A camcorder was stolen from Brown Appliances, according to Ellsworth police. Store employees discovered the camcorder was missing on Feb. 6. Its retail value was between $900 and $1,000.

Steven Lovell, 21, of Hyannis, Mass., was charged with theft in connection with a shoplifting incident Saturday at Doug’s Shop ‘n Save in Ellsworth.

Kevin S. Trundy, 28, of Stonington, turned himself in to sheriff’s deputies Sunday on two warrants charging failure to pay fines.

Joseph Carter, 27, of Hancock, was charged with driving after suspension after being stopped Saturday on Route 1 in Hancock.

David A. Mack, 41, of Southwest Harbor, was charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. Mack allegedly drove off Mud Creek Road in Lamoine on Saturday.
