Outlook: Both teams have mix of veterans and youth and are still trying to combine two into cohesive units. Early results point to both teams being well balanced offensively. UMPI wants to keep tempo slower than Husson would like.

Outlook: Machias boasts one of best low post players in the state in Meredith, but he’s coming off an injury-plagued season a year ago. Clippers have several new faces to mix with veterans. They’ll enjoy decisive size advantage over UMFK.
Schedule: Tournament continues Thursday with consolation at 6 p.m. and championship at 8 p.m.
