For those of you who plan to vote “yes” on the Sunday sales bill, please read this and think again. We who work in the retail business are asking you to please vote “no” in November. A “yes” vote will mean that you are making us work on Sundays; we will not have the luxury as you do to spend the day with our families.
Some of our children will be left alone. Is that fair to them? By voting “yes,” you will be condemning us to a sentence of having to be away from our families. I am asking this as a mother and wife, to many of you mothers and wives, who value your time with your families so greatly. Please vote “no.” Cynthia M. Lear Morrill
