Directors of SAD 14 approve extracurricular assignments

DANFORTH — Extracurricular assignments were made for secondary-level staff members in SAD 14 during the last meeting of the district school board.

Assignments for the 1990-91 school year were approved as follows: Jan Preble, yearbook adviser, national honor society adviser and senior class adviser; Ruth Apgar, junior high school student council; John Atwood and Larry Malone, junior class advisers; Lorraine Springer, freshman class adviser; John Atwood, high school student council; Andy Latvis, junior high school soccer; Bennett Forrest, cross-country skiing; Larry Malone, varsity boys basketball; and Ardis Brackett, varsity girls basketball.

The board also approved a policy dealing with mobility-impaired students and approved a school application to the state for money to assist with a drug-abuse program.

Board member Sidney Faulkner of Danforth was appointed to the board of directors of the Southern Aroostook Vocational Education Region II.
