Once again, the wonder and enchantment of Prom Time swept the spirits of residents and staffers at Brewer. The “Way Back Ball,” featuring “The Moonshine,” was held May 16 at Brewer High School. Families, friends and volunteers also assisted.

It all began with the arrival of three antique cars. They drove the residents across the street to the school where the ball was being held. This was right in style for our old-fashioned theme for National Nursing Home Week, “A Tradition of Caring.”

Prizes for the event were donated by Harding Florist, Basketworld, Pizza Pete’s and Wellby Super Drug. Other contributors were the Monogram Shop and Bridal Boutique, the Brewer High School Key Club and the families of Larry Parker and Annie Nickerson.
