WINTERVILLE PLANTATION — Three Caribou residents were arrested during the weekend on charges of burglary. The charges were filed in connection with the theft of materials and equipment from a St. Froid Lake camp that were valued at about $1,800.

Deputy Sheriff Dan Robertson said Monday that Sonia Beaulieu, 21, Gaylon Prescott, 21, and Joseph Saucier, 55, all of Caribou were charged with burglary when they were arrested April 6 and 7. The three were arrested at their home.

Robertson said the trio was charged in connection with a burglary at a camp on St. Froid Lake on April 2.

In an unrelated case, Prescott was charged with possession of marijuana. He also was named in four outstanding warrants issued by the Presque Isle Police Department, said Robertson.

Beaulieu was released on bail. Prescott and Saucier were in custody Monday in lieu of bail. The three are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, April 18, in 1st District Court in Fort Kent.

Assisting Robertson were officers James Chartier and Paul Vincent of the Caribou Police Department.
