Community management explored

FRANKFORT — Frankfort’s Comprehensive Planning Committee has analyzed the demographics of the town and five neighboring communities as part of the panel’s work in formulating a local growth management program as mandated by the state.

Land use, housing, transportation and economics will be studied in future meetings. Results of a recent town survey have been tabulated and much of the information has been converted to charts and graphs.

Evelyn Adams has been named to fill a position on the committee left open by the resignation of Elaine Chaney. Adams will serve with James Sanders as co-chairman of the subcommittee on existing and future land use.
