CLINTON – The Stoughton family farm will be the location this August of annual Maine Farm Days events.
The public will be allowed to visit during the two-day event and see what is involved in the operation as family members work on the large dairy farm.
Misty Meadows Farm is an approximately 1,000-acre operation that milks about 550 cows, producing about 1.4 million gallons of milk annually.
This year, the event will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 17-18.
“By moving the days to Friday and Saturday, it will make it easier for people to take advantage of this farming exposition,” Dale Finseth of the Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District said Monday.
Misty Meadows Farm is on Hill Road, about four miles north of the center of town, just before the golf course.
For information call either Dale Finseth at 622-7847, ext. 3, or Fran Hale at 445-5712.
