Tests needed to find cause of girl’s death

AUGUSTA – Additional tests will be needed to determine what caused the death of a 5-year-old girl, police said.

State police are investigating the death of Logan Marr, who was pronounced dead Thursday night at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.

Logan was transported from the Chelsea home of her foster parents, Sally and Dean Schofield, after a 911 operator received a call that she was not breathing.
