ALFRED — The York County grand jury has handed up a murder indictment against a Maryland man arrested in last month’s fatal shooting of a co-worker at a resort hotel in Kennebunkport.
No arraignment date has been set for Joseph Glasco, a 24-year-old Howard University student from Columbia, Md. Glasco was charged in the Aug. 15 slaying of Paul Landre, 18, in the employees’ dormitory at the Colony Hotel.
Glasco, who worked as a dishwasher at the hotel, allegedly killed Landre during a late-night argument over loud music. Glasco’s lawyer has suggested that his client acted in self-defense.
Glasco was being held without bail at the York County Jail.
